A new 103-minute action revenge thriller starring Alan Ritchson became an instant streaming hit.

The available sources do not support the claim as a description of one film. MovieWeb identifies a 103-minute revenge action thriller as a worldwide streaming hit, but the supplied result does not identify Alan Ritchson as its star. The Alan Ritchson film associated with a 2026 streaming record, War Machine, is described as a 106-minute science-fiction action thriller, not a 103-minute revenge thriller.movieweb.commovieweb.comAlan Ritchson's 106-Minute Sci-Fi Action Thriller Is Officially 2026's Biggest...polygon.compolygon.comAlan Ritchson's 106-minute sci-fi action thriller is officially Netflix's...+1 more

Another likely source of the confusion is Motor City. Collider reported on Aug. 28, 2026, that the film entered the top 10 on Amazon and Apple’s digital movie charts one day after its digital release. ScreenRant describes it as an R-rated revenge film starring Ritchson, but also says it received a theatrical release. The supplied sources do not establish that Motor City is 103 minutes or that it became an instant worldwide streaming hit.collider.comcollider.comIn Just 1 Day, Alan Ritchson's New Action Thriller Has Become a Streaming...screenrant.comscreenrant.comAlan Ritchson's New R-Rated Revenge Thriller Earns Solid Rotten Tomatoes...+1 more

Ritchson is also linked to Playdate, a 94-minute action thriller that several supplied results describe as performing strongly with home viewers. That runtime and film premise do not match the claim either. Taken together, the evidence indicates that the statement merges the runtime and revenge-film description associated with one title with Ritchson’s documented streaming popularity in other titles.movieweb.commovieweb.comAlan Ritchson's 94-Minute Action Thriller Is One of the Biggest Streaming Hits...fandomwire.comfandomwire.comForget Reacher, Alan Ritchson’s Relentless Action Thriller Dominates Prime Video...+1 more

The claim is therefore not supported as written. A narrower statement that Ritchson has recently appeared in action films attracting strong streaming or digital-chart attention would be supported, but the specific combination of 103 minutes, revenge thriller, Alan Ritchson starring, and instant streaming-hit status is contradicted by the supplied source record.
